World Poker Tour Paris To Be Filmed For TV

Matchroom Sport To Film Main Event and High Rollers Event at World Poker Tour Paris in May

TV cameras return the Rendez-Vous a Paris festival in MayThe Aviation Club de France’s Rendez-Vous a Paris poker festival, being held at the Parisian club from May 1 to 16, will have its World Poker Tour Grand Prix de Paris main event and High Rollers event filmed for TV broadcast.

The €10,000 buy-in WPT main event will start on May 8 with the final table now moving from May 12 to 15 while the €20,000 High Rollers final table will play out in front of the cameras on May 16.

Matchroom Sport will be filming all the action and managing director Eddie Hearn said, ’’We are delighted to be working with the WPT on this exciting project. The WPT has established itself as the number one Tour in poker and bringing their prestigious events to Europe is great news for players, broadcasters and the game of poker.”

More Europe-based WPT events are expected to be added to the TV production list soon.
