The European Masters of Poker Italy gets underway today with two side events kicking off the festival at Casino de Campione (pictured) in the Italian enclave of Campione, 60 km north of Milan. Today’s tournament’s are:
May 27 — €300+30 no-limit hold’em , 10,000 starting chips , 30 min levels
May 27 — €300+30 mixed event (Omaha/Hold’em/Stud), 15,000 starting chips, 30 min levels
Tomorrow, Friday May 28, sees the €1,100 buy in main event and is expected to be attract up to 400 players who will play through to the final table on Sunday May 30.
Other side events are:
May 29 — €500+50 no-limit hold’em, 10,000 starting chips, 40 min levels
May 30 — €200+20 no-limit hold’em , 8,000 starting chips , 25 min levels
Timothy Timotheau won the last EMOP held in Lisbon at the end of March 2010.
