The 2010 PokerStars EPT Grand Final Champion is Nicolas Chouity. The SuperNova from Lebanon entered the final table with a massive chip lead and did everything in his power to keep it that way.
Chouity bobbed and weaved through his opponents’ plays, pitting them against one other and using the pressure of the cash at stake to force them into tough decisions.
In the end, Chouity knocked out six of his sevens opponents to come away with the title and the first place prize of €1,700,000.

Mesbah Guerfi Eliminated in 8th Place (€140,000)
Coming into the day second in chips didn’t help Mesbah Guerfi. The Frenchman checked a flop of 843, as did Nicolas Chouity. The turn was the 4 and Guerfi bet 310,000.
Chouity called and the river was the K. Guerfi then bet 785,000, effectively putting in half of his remaining stack. Chouity then announced that he was all in and Guerfi called, showing A-K.
Chouity revealed slow-played pocket eights for a full house and Guerfi was eliminated. Chouity now has over 14 million, more than 7 times his nearest competitor.
Roger Hairabedian Eliminated in 7th Place (€200,000)
Nicolas Chouity raised and Roger Hairabedian moved all in for just about three big blinds. Chouity showed A3 Suit and had Hairabedian’s J3 dominated.
The board fell AA5QQ and Hairabedian was eliminated.
Aleh Plauski Eliminated in 6th Place (€300,000)
Aleh Plauski moved all in for his last 680,000 and Nicolas Chouity isolated all in behind him. Plauski showed K10 and was relieved to be drawing live against Chouity’s AQ.
The board fell 7529Q however, and Plauski was eliminated.
Andrew Chen Eliminated in 5th Place (€400,000)
Andrew Chen moved all in for 1,960,000 and Josef Klinger instantly called with pocket kings. Chen sheepishly turned over 97 and failed to connect with a board of JJ1059.
Chen finishes in fifth place and earns €400,000. Klinger moved firmly into second place with over 6 million in chips.
Herve Costa Eliminated in 4th Place (€500,000)
Nicolas Chouity raised to 450,000 and Herve Costa reraised all in for 820,000 total. Chouity made the easy call with KQ and Costa revealed A9.
The board ran out KK663 and Chouity took the pot. Costa, despite only playing four hands at the final table, was able to move up several spots on the money ladder.
Dominykas Karmazinas Eliminated in 3rd Place (€700,000)
Action was folded to Nicolas Chouity who moved all in from the small blind. Dominykas Karmazinas woke up with A7 and made the call.
Chouity could only show a dominated A6, but the board fell Q536K to give him the pot with a pair of sixes and send Karmazinas to the rail.
