The World Poker Tour Grand Prix de Paris kicks off today at 3 p.m. (local time) at the Aviation Club de France in Paris as part of the club’s Rendez-Vous a Paris poker festival which began on May 1.
The €10,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em freezeout is making a return to the WPT schedule after five years. It will see two starting days and will run until May 15. Players sit down with 30,000 in chips and 90 minute levels. They will play seven levels today and tomorrow, beginning with blinds of 50-100.
There is a cap of 400 players on this event.
The €20,000 buy-in High Roller event will take place across three days starting on May 14. The main event and the High Roller event will be filmed for broadcast by Matchroom Sport.
