PartyPoker.com Now Offers Poker TrainerNew Free Teaching Tool Made for All Levels of Players |
|
PartyPoker.com teamed up with Texas hold'em poker software developer Poker Academy to provide an online hold'em trainer that's available right under the site's "play money" tab.
When a player pulls up the trainer table, he'll sit at a table where he chooses how many players to play against and the level the player feels he is at, from beginner to advanced.
As the hands are played, an advisor, located in a window at the bottom left of the table window, offers advice on how the player might want to act. It also keeps track of how well the player did during the training session.
"If you're new to poker, the ins and outs of the game can sometimes seem overwhelming," said Warren Lush of PartyPoker.com. "What's more, trying to psyche out your opponents while calculating the odds in a split second is a tall order - even for seasoned pros. That's why a new poker trainer was added to PartyPoker.com's free software package, powered by the most advanced poker training software on the market."
The trainer allows players to work at their own pace.
Poker Academy, which developed the training software for PartyPoker.com, develops software to teach players how to become good poker players. A more advanced poker trainer is available from Poker Academy for $129.
