Commerce Casino in Southern California will host a Guaranteed Million Dollar Tournament with a five-day entry period, which is slated to begin July 20. This $335 no-limit hold’em event gives players the option of entering or re-entering on any of the five days from July 20-24.
The top 27 players every day will advance to day 2 on Sunday, July 25, so the ultimate field competing for the guaranteed Commerce Casino payout will only number 135 players.
“With the phenomenal record-breaking attendance and huge popularity of these multiple entry-day tournaments that Commerce Casino has had with the L.A. Poker Classic and the California State Championship, we thought it would great to offer a stand-a-lone $1 million tournament here in the summer,” said Jeff Harris, Casino Manager. “We want to make sure in these lazy dog days of summer that players have a powerhouse tournament that will keep them excited.”

Players will begin with 4,000 in chips and blinds begin at 25-50. Levels will be 40 minutes long.

Thursday, July 22: Day 1C (play down to 27 players)
Friday, July 23: Day 1D (play down to 27 players)
Saturday, July 24: Day 1E (play down to 27 players)
Sunday, July 25: Day 2 (play down to final table)
Monday, July 26: Final Table
