Day 2 at the World Poker Tour Bellagio Cup VI $10,000 main event saw the field grow to 310 players while registration remained open during the entire day. Registration will not close until the conclusion of the first level tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. This year’s field has already shown growth from the 268 that entered one year ago.
There are 112 players that advanced to day 3. Many players that came into the day with big chip stacks were able to hold on to their status as king of the mountain. The overnight chip leader is Joseph Miceli, who ended play with 440,000. Jordan Morgan had the biggest rush on the day and he settles in at the number two spot with 431,300. Guillaume Darcourt (378,000) and Paola Martin (290,800) had productive days and they each remain in the top 10 in chips. Recent gold bracelet winner Men Nguyen (222,500) also made a push during day 2.
