A 21-year-old who escaped from custody while on visit to a hospital in Townsville, Australia taunted police and prison authorities by inviting his friends to a poker game according to ABC.net.au.
Justin Grant, who was being held on charges a variety of charges including drug offences, updated his Facebook page several times while on the run including inviting his friends on the site to join him on a poker game.
He was recaptured yesterday in the car park of a fast food restaurant.
Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Hicks told media, “We monitor Facebook as part of the investigative process but that’s as far as we go,” he said indicating they could not track down the computer he had been using.
