Players can buy in directly right now on PokerStars.com and qualifiers are running for as little as $5.50 or 500FPPs. However palyers are asked to note that they will not be able to buy in directly on the day at Corn Exchange. They can, however, also buy in for the main or side events at any Grosvenor or G Casino.

Nick Wealthall, UKIPT host, said, “The UKIPT tournament is guaranteed to be one of the biggest tournaments in the history of poker in Scotland and if the rest of the season is anything to go by there will be a tonne of cash up for grabs as well as the honour of being the first ever Scottish winner on the tour. The event is taking place in the Edinburgh Corn Exchange, one of the most prestigious concert locations in Scotland.”

Wealthall also had a warning to poker players who like to leave their accommodation to the last minute. “If you don’t get a package with us, make sure you get your accommodation sorted right now as Edinburgh during the festival is super popular,” he said.
