Unibet Holdings today issued its interim report for the first six months of 2010.
In the first six months of 2010 gross winnings revenue from poker fell 2.4 percent to £11.8 million from £12.1 million in the same period of 2009.
Gross winnings revenue in the second quarter of 2010 fell 12.7 percent to £4.7 million from £5.4 million in the same period of 2009.
The company saw poker revenues rise 6.5 percent in the first quarter of 2010 compared to a year earlier.
As a percentage of overall gross winnings revenue poker now represents 12 percent compared to 18 percent in the second quarter of 2010.
The company has signed a deal with Ongame to enter the recently regulated and licenced French market later this year.
The company said, “poker…continued to face competitive pressures.”
