Day 4 at the World Poker Tour Legends of Poker $5,000 no-limit hold’em main event began at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24. A total of 15 players began the day and at the end of the night just 6 remained. The final table will crown a champion tomorrow and the champion will walk away with $750,000.
The final table will began as a battle between the haves and have nots. Three players will enter play close to the 3 million mark, while the other half of the competitors hover around 1 million. Andrew Frankenberger (pictured right) had a very strong day today, eliminating multiple players, including Jonathan Little en route to the chip lead. He is the chip leader with 3,015,000 heading into tomorrow. Tom Lee is in second chip-position with 2,915,000 and Kyle Wilson is in third chip-position with 2,854,000. Adam Schiffer Eliminated in 15th Place ($19,500)
Hoan Ly raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and Adam Schiffer moved all in for 120,000 from the small blind. Tom Lee made the call from the big blind and Ly made the call as well.
Both live players check down the board that fell A 8 2 K Q and Schiffer revealed A 9 after the river. Lee turned over A J and Ly mucked.
Schiffer was eliminated on the hand in 15th place, taking home $19,500. Lee held 925,000 after the hand.
Ben Keiley Eliminated in 14th Place ($19,500)
Tom Braband bet 30,000 preflop from middle position and Ben Keiley moved all in for 284,000 from the cutoff. Braband made the call and they flipped over their cards:

Braband won the hand to grow his stack to 1.42 million and Keiley was eliminated in 14th place, taking home $19,500 in prize money.
Florentino Ornelas Eliminated in 13th Place ($19,500)
Kyle McCammond raised to 38,000 from the cutoff preflop and Florentino Ornelas reraised all in for 370,000 from the small blind. McCammond made the call and they flipped over their cards:

McCammond grew his stack to 1.1 million after the hand and Ornelas was eliminated in 13th place, taking home $19,500.
Jonathan Little Eliminated in 12th Place ($24,000)
Jonathan Little bet 50,000 from middle position with a flop of J 6 2 sitting on the table. Andrew Frankenberger made the call and the turn fell 7. Frankenberger bet 150,000 and Little made the call.
The river fell 10 and Little checked. Frankenberger decided to move all in and put Little on a decision for his tournament life. Little eventually made the call and Frankenberger flipped over 8 6.
Little mucked his cards and he was eliminated from the tournament in 12th place ($24,000). Frankenberger is now the overwhelming chip leader with 3,480,000.
Tyler Cornell Eliminated in 11th Place ($24,000)
Tyler Cornell moved all in preflop from early position for 260,000 and Andrew Frankenberger made the call. He was still stacking his chips when he made the call after quickly glancing at his cards when action was on him. Their cards:

Frankenberger eliminated another opponent thanks to the gift-wrapped pocket aces and he grew his chip lead to a monster stack worth 3,785,000. Cornell was eliminated in 11th place and he took home $24,000.
Hoan Ly Eliminated in 10th Place ($24,000)
Hoan Ly moved all in from middle position preflop for 220,000 and Tom Lee went into the tank on the cutoff. He mucked but Andrew Frankenberger made the call from the small blind. Their cards:

Ly was eliminated in 10th place and he took home $24,000. Frankenberger now holds 4 million. His closest competitor holds 1.4 million.
John Smith Eliminated in Ninth Place ($29,000)
Jared Jaffee raised to 55,00 from middle position and John Smith reraised all in for 235,000 from the button. Jaffee made the call and they flipped over their cards:

Smith busted in ninth place and he was awarded $29,000 in prize money. Jaffee held 985,000 after the hand.
Wade Woelfel Eliminated in Eighth Place ($35,000)
Tom Braband raised to 50,000 from middle position and Wade Woelfel moved all in from from the cutoff preflop. Tome Lee made the call and Braband mucked. Their cards:

Steve Reitzfeld Eliminated in Seventh Place ($45,000)
Tom Lee raised to 60,000 from the cutoff preflop and Andrew Frankenberger made the call from the small blind. Steve Reitzfeld made the call from the big blind. The flop was dealt 5 4 3 and Frankenberger checked. Reitzfeld moved all in for 260,000. Lee made the call and Frankenberger mucked. Their cards:
