Dwyte Pilgrim Jumps to Third
Dwyte Pilgrim has made a habit of making final tables in 2010, so it comes as no surprise that he finished in third place last week at the final table of the World Series of Poker Circuit Horseshoe Council Bluffs $1,500 main event. The cash was good for $39,531 and 400 Card Player Player of the Year points. That helped Pilgrim jump into third place overall with 3,776 points.
Pilgrim has made more final tables than any other poker player this year with a dozen final-table finishes that qualified for POY points. He has made even more final tables and won a few tournaments that didn’t count in the standings. Just four days before his final-table performance in Iowa he won a $200 no-limit hold’em preliminary at the WSOP Circuit stop.
