Online Poker -- Full Tilt's MiniFTOPS Kicks Off Tonight

The Mini Full Tilt Online Poker Series (MiniFTOPS) is back to give players with more modest bankrolls a chance at poker glory.

MiniFTOPS XVII kicks off tonight with the first of 34 events. The schedule features the same events as the normal FTOPS, but all of the buy-ins are at about one-tenth the price.

Even with the small buy-ins, the site has guaranteed $6 million in prize money.

The 11-day series will culminate with the no-limit hold’em main event, which features a $70+$5 buy-in and a $1 million-guaranteed prize pool. There will also be a two-day $200+$16 tournament with a $600,000 guarantee and six Rush Poker tournaments.

All players who make the final table of a MiniFTOPS event will receive a limited-edition MiniFTOPS jacket. Winners will also receive a silver MiniFTOPS jersey to go along with their first-place prize money.

Whoever finishes first on the MiniFTOPS leaderboard will receive a special prize package, which includes entries to all FTOPS XVIII events (except the two-day event). All together, the prize package is worth about $10,000 in tournament entries.
