Bodog will kick off the Bodog Poker Open V this Sunday.
The series will begin at 4 p.m. EST with a $100+9 buy-in no-limit hold’em event. Bodog will add $15,000 to the prize pool.
The highlight of the BPO V is the $470+30 buy-in $200,000-guaranteed main event on Oct. 3.
Even with buy-ins of larger sizes, Bodog is giving players with more modest bankrolls a chance to compete. The BPO V this fall is split into two series — the Championship Series, which has buy-ins from $33 to $500, and the Contender Series, which has buy-ins from $6 to $50. Both have eight events and offer tournaments for all bankroll sizes.
All Championship Series event winners will receive a seat into the $200,000-guaranteed main event. In addition to what will be a large first-place prize, the winner of the main event will also receive a Corum Championship watch, worth more than $5,000.
