Online bookmaker Ladbrokes.com has opened eight betting markets on the Irish Poker Festival main event taking place in Killarney from Oct. 1 to 3, 2010.
The outright betting market for the €500 buy in event has Karl Mahrenholz as favourite at 100/1, Jason Tompkins at 125/1, Jon Kalmar at 150/1, Mick McCloskey at 175/1, and Paul Lecky at 200/1.
Rank outsider is Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels actor Nick Moran at 400/1.
Moran is also the outsider (15/8) in a match bet against Racing Post journalist James Willoughby (2/5).
It’s currently 6/1 for a woman to make the final table and the age of winner market sees the 24-30 (inclusive) age group even money favourite against 23 and under at 7/2 and 31 and over at 7/2.
Three other match betting markets are available and the outright betting market will pay 1/8 the odds for a player to make the final table of nine.
