While Bodog is kicking off the Bodog Poker Open V this Sunday, the online site is also offering a special satellite to Card Player readers.
The highlight of the BPO V is the $470+30 buy-in $200,000-guaranteed main event on Oct. 3., and Bodog is holding a $5+.50 private satellite to the event, which will include an added seat worth $500.
The name of the tournament is Cardplayer BPO V and the password is CPBPO. The satellite will begin this Sunday at 6:35 p.m. EST.
Along with this special satellite, Bodog is giving players with more modest bankrolls a chance to compete. The BPO V this fall is split into two series — the Championship Series, which has buy-ins from $33 to $500, and the Contender Series, which has buy-ins from $6 to $50. Both have eight events and offer tournaments for all bankroll sizes.
All Championship Series event winners will receive a seat into the $200,000-guaranteed main event. In addition to what will be a large first-place prize, the winner of the main event will also receive a Corum Championship watch, worth more than $5,000.
