Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza IV Begins

The 2010 Deep Stack Extravaganza Series has returned to the Venetian Poker Room for Deep Stack Extravaganza IV, running October 28-November 24.

Several tournaments will take place, featuring no-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha, Omaha hi/lo, and H.O.R.S.E events. The Series will culminate with the $2,500 buy-in no-limit hold’em event.

The $340 and $550 events will consist of 40-minute levels and play until a final table has been reached or until 2 a.m., whichever comes first. Action will resume at 4 p.m. if necessary.

The 2-day $1,070 events will feature 60-minute levels and play until 2 a.m. before restarting at 4 p.m. and playing to a winner. The 3-day $2,500 event will follow the same schedule, but return to action at 2 p.m. on day 3 to play to a winner.

Registration begins at 9 p.m. on the night before each event. Tournaments begin at noon.

Last year’s Deep Stack Extravaganza IV $2,500 event had 269 players, creating a prize pool of $616,548. It was won by Dan Lu for $147,971.
