The 38-year-old, who has cashed twice at the World Series of Poker as well as finishing second in the Bellagio Cup and third at the Venetian Deep Stack, will represent Full Tilt Poker at upcoming poker events and will box Haye under Full Tilt sponsorship.
He said he fell in love with poker while living in Las Vegas and has spent time learning how to play the game from the professionals who reside there.
“I have had some great results already in the game and Eddie [Hearn] and I have been looking at joining the right team for a while now,” he explained.
“We have found the perfect partner in Full Tilt Poker and I look forward to representing them both in the ring and on the tables. Next time I’m in action on the felt, I plan to have the WBA Heavyweight Championship belt round my waist."
