On Friday, Full Tilt Poker announced the signing of tennis pro James Blake as a Friend of Full Tilt.
The 30-year-old athlete, who turned pro in 1999, has consistently been ranked among tennis’ elite. James has emerged as one of the most recognized faces in the world of tennis over the past decade, thanks in part to a win versus Rodger Federer in a 2008 Beijing Olympic quarterfinal match.
The former participant on Bravo’s second edition of Celebrity Poker Showdown was most recently seen in action at the US Open where he advanced to the third round.
Blake has $6,916,309 in career earnings on the tennis court.
