The board completed 47 and Buckley doubled-up.

Mark Buckley Stays Alive With a Straight On the River

Mikhail Petrov opened to 7,100 from under then gun, Mark Buckley called from under the gun +1, Oleskandr Babak called from the button and Jonathan Lundy called from the small blind.
The four saw a flop of 1084 and action checked around to Babak. Babak bet 9,000 and Lundy and Petrov released their hands. Buckley announced he was all-in for 68,500 and Babak snap-called.
Buckley showed K9 to Babak’s 88. Behind Babak’s set of eights, Buckley got up and started to gather his things. The dealer continued the board and turned over J7 but Buckley did not notice. As he continued to gather his things his tablemates informed him of the river.
“You got a straight, man,” one said. An astonished Buckley took a look at the board, confirmed his tablemate was correct, shrugged his shoulders and sat back down. Meanwhile, Babak was left with about 13,000.

Lundy was in great shape to add to his stack and eliminate two opponents, but the board ran out A8463 and somehow both players managed to win their respective pots, with Robert Willis’ ace-three winning the main pot with a rivered two pair and Roger Lu’s ace-jack winning the side pot.

Jonathan Lundy moved his last 850,000 into the middle preflop and was called by Patrick Clarke. Everybody else got out of the way and left the other two players heads-up.
Lundy had a great hand, but was in terrible shape with his AK up against Clarke’s AA. Lundy never really had a sweat as the dealer peeled off a board of 97583 and Lundy was eliminated in eighth place.
That leaves seven native Irishmen at the final table and everybody is guaranteed at least €26,500.
