Flight 1B: Ends With 37 Players, 98 Returning for Day 2

 Flight 1B of day 1 has come to a close and only 36 players bagged up chips. They will combine with the 62 players from flight 1A tomorrow at 12 pm EST.
When chips were bagged for the night, Todd Mitchell picked up the overall chiplead with 285,300. Bart Guthie and Konstantinos Katkakis were not far behind with 235,400 and 213,500.
World Series of Poker bracelet winner Chris Tryba might be a little hungrier for the win than the rest of the field as he came in second in this very event last year. Greg Raymer, the 2004 WSOP main event champion and four-time Heartland Poker Tour champion, has the chance to add a CPPT title to his lengthy resume. But before either man can take home the trophy, they will need to last through another day and a field that also includes 2006 World Poker Tour Foxwoods Poker Open winner Victor Ramdin, David Stefanski, Je Wook Oh, Roland Israelashvili, Tom Dobrilovic and Stanley Lee.
