Tran would bust out later in the level.

The turn was the J and both players checked. The river was the 10 and Kenney took a stab with 350,000. Berkey made the call and Kenney just tapped the table as Berkey tabled AQ.
Mizrachi Knocks Out Schreiber
Michael Mizrachi raised to 80,000 from the hijack and Matthew Schreiber moved in for 374,000 from the big blind. Mizrachi made the call and Schreiber was officially at risk.

May 31, '09
Blinds: 25-25
Players Remaining: 2,990 out of 3,021
Notable Eliminations:
David Tran
Chris McCormack
Big Hands:
David Tran Eliminated
Down to his last 50 in chips, David Tran checks his option from the big blind with 4 limpers in front of him. The flop comes 876, and Tran moves all in for his last 25. The player in seat 2 calls and they turn over their cards. Tran turns over 74 for middle pair with a gutshot straight draw, but seat 2 shows 109 for the made nut straight. Tran makes his straight on the turn when the 5 hits the board, but he is now drawing dead to the river. The river is the 9 and David Tran is eliminated from the event.
Chris McCormack Eliminated
Chris McCormack was eliminated early in Level 1 when he ran his five-high flush into a king-high flush with the ace on board. McCormack is just one of several pros to be busted from this tournament in the first few minutes.
Jimmy Tran, Back to Even
After collecting a few buy-ins and building up a decent stack, Jimmy Tran gets involved in this pot, with a flop of KQ7. Tran checks to the button who bets 300, Tran calls. The turn is the 10, and once again Tran checks to the button who this time bets 800, Tran calls. The river is the 3 and both players check. Tran shows QQ for a set of queens, but the player on the button turns over 54 for a small flush. The player on the button rakes the pot and Jimmy Tran smiles as he riffles through the rest of chips. “Back to even”, he laughs.
“The Dragon” Off to a Slow Start
The player in seat 1 raises to 125 from middle position and David Pham calls from the small blind. The flop comes 982, and Pham leads out for 175. Seat 10 raises to 400 and Pham calls. The turn is the Q, and this time Pham checks. Seat 10 bets 500 and Pham folds after a few minutes in the tank. After this hand Pham is down to 1,600 in chips.
Left In The Deck:
Even in the massive, sold-out field for the event, professional players Jonathan Little and Matthew Glantz have found themselves at the same table among an ocean of amateurs.
Justin Bonomo raised to 600 from under the gun and Jimmy Tran called in the big blind. The flop came down Q74 and Tran checked.
Bonomo continued with a bet of 1,200 and Tran made the call. The turn was the 10 and Tran checked once again. Bonomo bet 3,400 and Tran made the call.
The river was the 5 and Tran checked. Bonomo fired in a bet of 8,500 and Tran called with Q4 for flopped two pair. Bonomo showed A6 for a flopped flush and took down the pot, increasing his stack to 66,200. Tran is left with 27,500.
Jimmy Tran raised 3,600 from the button and Carter Gill made the call in the small blind. Michael Mizrachi also called in the big blind and the flop was dealt AA10. Tran bet 10,000 and both of his opponents mucked their hands. Tran flashed an ace as he collected the pot.
We're still working out all the kinks here in the poker room, but Jimmy Tran has doubled up so far this level through Bertrand Grospellier.
On a flop of 1033, Grospellier bet 85,000 and Tran called. The turn was the 9 and Tran moved all in for 365,000. Grospellier called with A10, but Tran was drawing live with the QJ.
The river is the K and Tran makes a straight to double up.
Tran now has 1 million in chips and Grospellier remains strong with 1.8 million.
Other than that, everyone else has pretty much remained where they started.

Mizrachi doubles through Argyros in 1.3 million-chip pot
Midway through level 21, Michael Mizrachi raised to 55,000 from early position and Billy Argyros made the call from middle position. The flop was 742 and Mizrachi checked. Aryros bet the pot and Mizrachi immediately raised the pot. Argyros moved all in and Mizrachi called all in.
Argyros: AT77
Mizrachi KK94
Mizrachi had an overpair and a flush draw, but Argyros flopped a set of sevens. But the 3 came on the turn, and Argyros needed the board to pair to eliminate Mizrachi. The river was the 5, and Mizrachi doubled up. Argyros had to ship 600,000 chips his way, and was down to 500,000 chips after the hand.
Eliminations:
Jimmy Tran eliminated in 13th place ($44,767)
After Josh Arieh raised from early position to 60,000 and Tran called, Billy Argyros reraised 200,000 more. Arieh made the call and then after a minute Tran called all in for 125,000, creating a 150,000 side pot. The flop was AJ5 and Argyros moved all in. Arieh thought for a few minutes before folding.
Argyros: KKQJ
Tran: KQJT
Argyros had Tran completely dominated and drawing dead when he hit his flush when the 8 came on the turn. The 2 came on the river and Argyros took down the monster pot of about 800,000 chips.
Josh Arieh eliminated in 12th place ($53,721)
After losing chips on the hand with Argyros and Tran, Arieh was crippled when he called bets on the turn and river by Argyros on a AQ269. Argyros flipped over A-K-J-4 to beat Arieh's A-J-5-4. When Argyros flipped over his hand, he asked incredulously, "It's good? Wow, I was bluffing." Arieh told him he knew it was a bluff, but the bluff happened to be the better hand.
Arieh tripled up soon after, but was still shortstacked and moved all in. It folded around to Greg Hurst called from the small blind. Arieh held K-9-8-4 and would need to beat Hurst's Q-Q-3-3. But the board came Q-6-5-4-9. The turn gave Arieh a heart-flush draw, but he missed on the river, sending the chip leader for much of the tournament to the exit.
Shawn Buchanan eliminated in 11th place ($53,721)
Buchanan called a preflop raise out of the big blind, and then got his remaining chips into the middle against Greg Hurst on the flop.
Buchanan: J-T-7-6
Hurst: AQT9
Board: JT989
Buchanan flopped a better two pair, but had to dodge a lot of outs on the turn and river. The flop gave Hurst a flush, and the river gave him a full house.
