Flack Spices Things UpJul 14, '13 The tournament room at the Palazzo has been fairly quiet so far today, but luckily for us Layne Flack is here. Flack is always in for some table talk, banter and interesting poker action so we will keep our eye out for all of the above! Earlier this summer Flack was close to winning his seventh WSOP bracelet in the $10,000 2-7 No Limit event, but he ended up finishing in sixth place. That event was later won by Jesse Martin. The Shootout tournament features a different format than a traditional No-Limit Hold’em event in that players must win their table before moving on. As players win their individual tables, they take those chips with them to the next round where they must win another table and so on, until the final table is reached. Day 3 began with 12 players spread out over 2 tables, and with the elimination of Dylan Hortin in 10th Place ($17,544), the official 9-handed final table is now set. Play will begin in Level 2 with blinds of 4,000-8,000 with a 1,000 ante, and will continue until a winner is determined. With cards now back in the air, here is a look at the final table and how these players match up: Seat no. 1 — Michael Corson — 472,000 While only 9 remain, this event gathered 1,138 players, creating a total prize pool of $1,536,300.
