Allyn Jaffrey Shulman Wins CPPT Venetian Main Event ($293,966)

Allyn Jaffrey ShulmanCongratulations to Allyn Jaffrey Shulman, winner of the Card Player Poker Tour Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza III main event.

Shulman came into the final table in fourth place and managed to chip her way up to the top of the leader board. For the victory, she earns $293,966, the second largest score of her career.

In 2012, Shulman earned her first bracelet by winning the WSOP Seniors Championship for $603,713. She now has $1.236 million in career earnings and is ranked 19th all time among women in tournament earnings.

Condon needed an ace, queen or club on the river to double through, but the river was the 8Spade Suit, eliminating Condon in second place. He earns $181,278.

Condon raised to 80,000 on the button and Shulman called. The flop was JClub Suit10Club Suit4Spade Suit and Shulman led for 100,000. Condon called and the turn was the 8Diamond Suit.

Shulman bet 150,000 and Condon called. The river was the 9Heart Suit and Shulman bet 200,000. Condon called and Shulman turned over 6Diamond Suit4Club Suit.

Condon revealed a better KHeart Suit10Diamond Suit and took the pot, increasing his stack to 2.35 million.

Condon Gets Some Back

Condon raised to 60,000 on the button and Shulman called. The flop was JSpade Suit 8Diamond Suit 3Heart Suit and Shulman bet 75,000. Condon raised to 180,000 and Shulman called.

The turn was the 2Club Suit and both players checked. The river was the 7Club Suit and Shulman bet 125,000. Condon called tabling QHeart Suit 7Spade Suit for a rivered pair.

Shulman showed QSpade Suit9Heart Suit for a busted straight draw and Condon took the pot. After a winning a few pots, he is now back up to 2.1 million.

 

Shulman Flops a Set

Allyn Jaffrey Shulman raised to 60,000 on the button and Alex Condon reraised to 180,000. Shulman called and the flop fell KClub Suit4Club Suit3Club Suit.

Condon bet 144,000 and Shulman quickly raised to 500,000. A frustrated Condon folded and Shulman was kind enough to show down 3Spade Suit3Diamond Suit for a set.

Condon now has 1.55 million while Shulman has a big lead with 5 million.

 

Shulman Pulls Ahead

On a board of ADiamond Suit 10Spade Suit 8Spade Suit JClub Suit with 1.2 million in the pot, a dejected Alex Condon watched as Allyn Jaffrey Shulman put in a double fisted bet of 1 million.

Condon mucked and Shulman raked in the monster pot. She now has 4.55 million to Condon’s 2 million.

 

Shulman Draws Even With Condon
