The 10 fell on the river and Singer again checked. Young bet 10,500, sending Singer into the tank for a couple long minutes. Eventually, Singer made the call and Young announced “Ace-King.” He showed AK and Singer pushed his hand into the muck. Young had around 160,000 after the hand. Singer was down to just around 24,000. PearlJammer Steals One On a board of J73, Jon Turner was faced with a 12,000 chip bet into a pot of 27,000. Turnter had about 40,000 left in his stack and opted to min-raise to 24,000. His opponent went into the tank for minutes before the dealer called the clock on him. Turner’s opponent finally decided to fold. Turner exposed the Q5 for a complete bluff. Turner had around 82,000 after the hand. Kostritsyn Bullies Another Player On a flop of 844 seat 6 checked to Alexander Kostritsyn who bet 2,000. Seat 6 made the quick call and the K fell on the turn. Seat 6 checked to Kostritsyn who bet 6,500 this time. Seat 6 quickly folded and the Russian chipped up to 215,000. Jean Robert-Bellande Shows off for Cameras Action was on Jean-Robert Belande in a three-way pot on a flop of K-5-3. Bellande called the camera crews over and squeezed his pocket kings (for top set) to be visible for the camera to see. He took his time before betting 6,000. His opponents quickly folded and Bellande won the hand to increase his stack to about 50,000. No More Micon Bryan Micon put in a raise to 2,500 and was called by one player. The flop ran Q95 and Micon bet 3,700. His opponent made it 10,200 to go and Micon took some time to think it over. He eventually moved all in for about 40,000 and his opponent called. Their hands: Opponent: 78 Micon had a flopped set, but his opponent was drawing to all sorts of cards. One of those outs hit on the turn, as the 6 landed to give his opponent a straight. Antonius thought for a bit but released his hand into the muck. He was at 244,000 after the hand. Negreanu Takes One Daniel Negreanu raised to 2,200 from under the gun and the player in the big blind made the call. The two players saw a flop of K72 and Negreanu led with 2,500. The big blind called and the turn was the A. The big blind checked and Negreanu did the same. The river was the 6 and the big blind checked again. Negreanu fired 5,600 and that induced a fold. Negreanu took down the pot and he was at 33,000. Lee Starts Off Right Bernard Lee raised to 2,700 from the button and was called by the player in the big blind. The flop came K2Q and Lee fired out 3,400 after the big blind checked. Both players checked when the A peeled off on the turn. The 10 came on the river and now the big blind led out for 18,500 and Lee moved all-in. His opponent made the call and Lee tabled A6, giving him the nut flush and he doubled up to 195,000 in chips while eliminating his opponent. Rousso’s Aces Cracked Robert Lang got all his money in the middle preflop against Vanessa Rousso. Lang showed QQ and Rousso showed AA. A third queen fell on the flop and Rousso dropped to 80,000 while Lang’s stack doubled up to 40,000. Paul Wasicka Eliminates a Player Paul Wasicka was in the big blind with the AJ when a player on the button moved all in for about ten big blinds. Wasicka called and was his opponent tabled the 107. The board ran out AQ323 and Wasicka took the pot with a jack-high flush. He was up to about 65,000 after the hand. Chan KO’s Another On a flop of 683, Jason Cole led out into Johnny Chan for 5,000. Chan made a raise to 12,000 and that prompted Cole to move all-in for 28,400 and was called by Chan. Chan showed 1010 and Cole tabled A8. Chan was way out in front and stayed ahead when the 3 came on the turn and the J fell on the river. Cole gets to go home early and Chan vaults to 390,000 in chips. Mizrachi Grinds Down Naujoks Picking up the action after the flop came down K94, Michael Mizrachi led out with 3,000. Sandra Naujoks then raised to 8,000. Mizrachi repopped to 18,000 and Naujoks threw in the call. The turn was the 2 and Mizrachi fired 25,000. Naujoks threw in a relatively quick call and the two saw the 10 fall on the river. Mizrachi counted out some chips and pushed in 49,000. Naujoks took a massive tank session, shuffling her calling chips for almost two minutes. She eventually announced “call” and Mizrachi responed with “set.” He turned over 44 for bottom set on the flop and Naujoks mucked in disgust. He was met with a raise from Phil Ivey, who made it 4,000. The first player got out of the way and after a minute or so of contemplation, the original bettor made the call. Ivey rolled over the K6, making trips on the river and increasing his stack early. Salley Stumbles a Bit Early John Salley called a raise preflop as did several other players. The flop was K710 and the small blind led out for 500. Salley called and so did the player on the button. The turn was the 8 and all three players checked. The river was the K and the small blind bet 1,650. Salley called pretty quickly and the player on the button got out of the way. The small blind turned over K3 and Salley double checked his cards a couple time before releasing his hand into the muck. Tran Gives The Table a Sneak Peek J.C. Tran bet 525 on a flop of A109 when all the players checked to him. The player in the big blind called and the 10 fell on the turn. The big blind checked and Tran bet 1,300. The big blind eventually folded and Tran allowed the big blind to pick which card he wanted to see. The big blind picked the right card as Tran showed him a 10. Brad Berman Tripped Up Five players limped preflop and the flop came down AJQ. Action was checked to seat 4 who fired 500 and only Brad Berman made the call from the small blind. The turn was the 6 and both players checked. The river was the Q and seat 4 bet 1,000 after Berman checked. Berman called and seat 4 showed KQ for trips and the pot. Berman was at 27,750. You’re Still A Young Man On a flop of KQ8, the player seat 2 bet 500 and Ryan Young raised to 1,500. Seat 2 called and the turn was the 2. Seat 2 checked to Young who fired 5,000. Seat 2 called and the river was the 9. Both players checked and seat 2 tabled QQ for a flopped set. Young mucked and was down to 43,000. Elky Gets Turned Out The player in seat 4 raised to 350 and seat 6 made the call. Bertrand Grospellier made the call as well from late position and the three players saw a flop of K93. Everyone checked and the A came on the turn. Seat 4 led out with 700 and seat 6 mucked. Grospellier made the call and the Q fell on the river. Both players checked again and seat 4 tabled AJ for top pair and Grospellier mucked. He was at 28,000 after losing the hand. Game Over For Super Dario Dario Minieri was all in after a flop of 1074. Here were their cards. Minieri: Q10 Minieri had top pair but needed to dodge his opponent’s flush draw. The turn smacked Minieri as it was the J, making his opponent’s flush. On a recent hand he had a reporter sweat his hole cards. Young peaked at 93 and raised 6,000 preflop. An opponent raised to 15,000 and Young hesitated, but then decided to call. "Come on Card Player," said Young, as the flop was dealt Q105. Young checked, his opponent bet, and Young mucked his cards. "Man, that cost me 9,000," said Young after the hand.
