Adolfo Vaeza first sucked out on Erik Seidel to take the chip lead and he just sucked out again to put himself nearly out of reach, at least as far as today is concerned.
On the most recent hand, he somehow found himself all in with Team PokerStars pro Chris Moneymaker on a J-10-4 flop. Vaeza held pocket kings, but was drawing slim against Moneymaker’s set of jacks.
Alas, the turn and river came 9-Q, giving Vaeza the winning straight and a massive stack of 370,000. Moneymaker was eliminated, with one hell of a bad beat story to tell.
Erik Seidel Gets Really, Really Unlucky In Huge Pot

Erik Seidel was sitting pretty with a huge stack over just over 100,000 in chips and better yet, he was holding pocket aces. So what happened that caused his stack to shrink to just under 10,000?
Adolfo Vaeza and Seidel got into a preflop raising war and when the cards finally got to their backs, Seidel realized he was up against pocket kings.
But the board came out 872K5, giving a stunned Vaeza the pot and the chip lead with just over 180,000. Seidel seemed fine, however, as he passed over the majority of his stack.
