Nipun Java Doubles Through John PhanJan 08, '23 John Phan raised to 23,000 and Nipun Java shoved for 321,000. Phan went into the tank for over two minutes before making the call with A10, only to be shown a dominating AQ. The board ran out 7653J and Phan took a huge hit down to 300,000. Java is now among the leaders with 655,000. Player Tags: John Phan, Nipun Java Nipun Java Takes One OutJan 07, '23 John Phan raised to 10,000 from the cutoff, Nipun Java called UTG+1, and a player in middle position called before the big blind reraised all in for 75,000. Phan tanked before folding, Java reraised all in for about 200,000, and middle position folded. The remaining two players then revealed their cards. Java: 77 Board: J6566 The big blind was eliminated on the hand, and Java stacked up 320,000 after collecting the pot. Nipun Java – 320,000 (64 bb) Player Tags: Nipun Java Nipun Java Eliminated In 10th PlaceJan 08, '23 Jared Jaffee raised to 160,000 and was called by Mark Koeln on the button, before Nipun Java raised all in for 1,850,000. Khoa Nguyen went into the tank for about a minute before moving all-in over the top for 2,200,000, and Jaffee and Koeln got out of the way. Java showed AJ, which was racing against Nguyen’s pocket tens. The board ran out 107384 and Java was eliminated in 10th place for $10,057. Player Tags: Khoa Nguyen, Nipun Java Seven All-In Hands without an Elimination in Level 27Jan 08, '23 There were seven all-in shoves during Level 27 without an elimination on the final table bubble. There was a chopped pot where both players held pocket kings, and the board changed nothing. Take a deep breath before you read this next series of events: Nipun Java doubled through Khoa Nguyen, and then Nguyen got some back after doubling through Jared Jaffee. Jaffee was on deck to double up after that, and he scored one double at the expense of Mark Koeln, and then Nguyen scored another double. Jaffee then got another double up through Nguyen, and then Jaffee got a third double during the level when his K-Q held up against the pocket jacks of Koeln when a queen hit on the flop. That is certainly something you don’t see everyday with two tables playing five-handed on the final table bubble of a tournament. Player Tags: Jared Jaffee, Nipun Java Nipun Java Doubles Through Mark KoelnJan 08, '23 We missed the action, but it looked like Mark Koeln raised on the button and was three-bet by Nipun Java in the big blind. The rest of the chips then found their way in the middle, and Java’s AJ was way ahead of Koeln’s A6. The board ran out 853K10 and Java doubled up to about 1,550,000. Koeln was left with 600,000.
