Vigen Manukyan raised to 53,000 under the gun preflop and Prahlad Friedman reraised to 200,000 from the button. Manukyan reraised all in and Friedman made the call. Their cards:

Friedman won the pot with pocket queens and Manukyan was eliminated in seventh place, just one spot shy of tomorrow’s television final table. Manukyan received $64,400 in prize money.

Vigen Manukyan Loses Two Heartbreakers

Vigen Manukyan has lost two heartbreaking hands during the last couple of minutes. Both Prahlad Friedman and Sam Stein have doubled up courtesy of Manukyan and his stack has fallen from 1,440,000 down to 720,000.

Part I

Manukyan raised to 70,000 from the small blind preflop and Sam Stein made the call from the big blind. The flop was dealt A76 and Manukyan bet 200,000. Stein raised all in for 440,000 and Manukyan made the call. Their cards:

Stein: 107

Turn and River: 107

Stein sucked out to both a 10 and 7 to make a full house to win the hand and double up. Manukyan was knocked down to 930,000.

Part II

Two hands later Prahlad Friedman raised to 60,000 under the gun and Manukyan reraised to 200,000 from the cutoff. Friedman then reraised all in for 436,000 total. Manukyan made the call and they flipped up their cards:

Friedman paired his ace to double up and Manukyan held just 720,000 after the hand.

We didn’t catch the action, but Bob Lauria was forced to make a move with his A-J but ran into the pocket queens of Vigen Manukyan.

The board produced no help and Lauria was eliminated.
