David Sesso Flops Big

David Sesso found himself short stacked and all in from under the gun for his last 10,400. Jonathan Tamayo made the call from the big blind and was happy to see that his J9 was ahead of Sesso’s 63.

The dealer then spread out the flop of 333 and Tamayo immediately mucked his hand. Sesso still has worked to do, but has a bit more breathing room with nearly 23,000 in chips.

David Sesso Scores Big Knockout

Musa Taher raised to 2,800 and was called by David Sesso, Owen Crowe and one other player.

The flop came down 722 and Crowe bet 6,800. One player folded and Taher raised to 21,800. Sesso then moved all in for his last 112,600. Crowe folded and Taher made the call, showing AA.

Sesson showed A2 for trips and they held when the turn and river fell 85. Taher was eliminated and Sesso is now over 225,000.

Peter Jetten raised to 15,000 in the hijack and David Sesso called on the button. The flop came down AQ7 and Jetten checked. Sesso bet 56,000 and Jetten check raised all in for 200,000.

Sesso called with AK and was dominating Jetten’s A10. The turn and the river came 93 and Jetten was eliminated. Sesso now has 970,000 in chips.

Andrew Chen moved all in for his last 454,000 and David Sesso was forced to call all in for his last 272,000. Everyone else folded and Sesso saw that his QQ was well ahead of Chen’s A10.

Unfortunately for the American, the board ran A98K2 and Chen’s pair of aces was enough to bust Sesso.
