Romon Johnson was in the big blind and Jorge Fuentes was under the gun when the two players got it all in preflop for the last of Johnson’s chips. Johnson held A9, while Fuentes showed KQ.
Fuentes made trip queens on the QJ3Q5 board and Johnson was eliminated on one of the first hands back from break.

Teddy Ho opened to 6,000 from the hijack and Romon Johnson and Jorge Gomez called out of the blinds.
After a flop of AA9 action checked to Ho and he bet 11,000. Johnson called but Gomez got out of the way. After the Q opened on the turn, Johnson again checked. Ho checked as well and the two saw the 4 on the river.
Johnson check-called after Ho slid out a bet of 20,000 and quickly tabled Q9 for two pair. Ho showed the losing hand of 85 and Johnson stacked up to about 165,000.

Romon Johnson got the last of his chips in preflop in a pot worth around 70,000 chips and there was action on the side after a 1066 flop. A player in middle position shoved all in for his last 77,000 and Teddy Ho deliberated for quite a while before eventually folding.
The middle position player showed AJ for ace-high, but Johnson had a better ace-high with AK. The turn and river come A then 7 and Johnson took down the pot with the nut flush.
