Diego Cordovez Bio
A Stanford University graduate with a masters in engineering, Diego Cordovez dove straight into the high-tech industry before discovering poker as a passion. Once he caught the poker bug, he still chose to only play a handful of tournaments a year, and did so with enormous success. In 2000, Cordovez snagged a World Series of Poker bracelet in a $2,000 no-limit event. At the 2002 L.A. Poker Classic, Cordovez won the biggest limit hold'em tournament ever held up to that point and took home almost $570,000. Most recently, Cordovez finished deep in the 2007 WSOP main event and received more than $130,000 for finishing 67th. Cordovez currently resides in Palo Alto, California. He currently hosts Card Player TV's The Scoop with Adam Schoenfeld.
