The Best Movie Ever?
Mar 27, '15
Someone at table 1 posed the question “What is the greatest movie ever?” Prompting Ed Miller, who was seated at another table, to chime in with his picks.
Miller believes Ground Hog Day and Tommy Boy are two of the best movies ever, adding “you guys may be too young to remember, but Porkys was a pretty good movie.”
“Porkys I or II?” Shawn Vanasdale asking while laughing.
Miller did not specify.
“Stepbrothers is pretty good too,” Miller said.
Vanasdale then added his pick to the mix.
“If we are talking about comedy movies, I say Beerfest.”

Vanasdale Wins A Big One
Mar 27, '15
From early position Shawn Vanasdale raised to 400 and Mike Harvey called from the cutoff. The player in the small blind then made it 1,600 to go.
Vanasdale pulled back his initial 400 raise and then slid out a four-bet to 5,100.
Harvey quickly announced that he was all-in and the player in the small blind folded. Vanasdale made the call and flipped up the AA.
Harvey was in trouble with the 99.
The board ran out K87310 to secure the pot and the double up for Vanasdale, whose stack grew to 26,200 after the hand.
Vanasdale’s neighbor Shawn Daniels, who is enjoying a beer from Stone Brewing Co., attributed Vanasdale’s good fortune to his decision to join Daniels in enjoying a cold one. “See, you order a Stone and you get aces… it’s all in the beer!”
