Benjamin Scholl entered heads-up play with nearly a 4:1 chip lead over his opponent Andrew Prock and quickly capitalized on that advantage. Scholl managed to grind him down to his last few big blinds before getting him all in on a paired board with an under pair against his top pair.
Benjamin Scholl raised the button to 80,000, Andrew Prock reraised to 120,000 from the big blind and Scholl called.

Jeff Shulman came into Level 26 on the short stack with just 6 big blinds and was knocked down to just 145,000 (2 bbs) at one point in the level. Shulman managed to chip up as the level came to an end however, winning a big showdown against Andrew Prock with trip sixes. That hand was three-bet before the flop and raised on the turn and river. Shulman flopped a pair and rivered trips to chip up to about 570,000 (9.5 bbs).
There was a lot of back and forth with Shulman this level and shortly after chipping up through Prock a few hands before, Shulman lost a big showdown to Benjamin Scholl’s flush. That hand knocked Shulman down to about 375,000 while Scholl maintained a strong lead over the field with about 1.5 million or roughly sixty-percent of the chips in play. Shulman managed to gain some back by the end of the level and will head into the break virtually tied for second with Andrew Prock at about 500,000 each (6 bbs).
