Quan Nguyen open-shipped all in for his last 162,000 from under the gun. It folded over to Spencer Flores two seats over who announced a call. The rest of the table kicked their cards into the muck and the active hands were turned over.

The flop came down 272, keeping Flores’ pocket eights out in front. The 8 turned, giving Flores eights full of deuces and leaving Nguyen dead to the river. The board finished off with the 3 and Nguyen was eliminated from play in 17th place.

Quan Nguyen Doubles Through Mo Arani

Mo Arani opened to 33,000 from middle position and it folded over to Quan Nguyen who three-bet shipped for about 100,000 from two seats over. The rest of the table folded back to Arani and he called.
Arani showed AK and was racing with Nguyen’s QQ. Nguyen’s ladies held through a 10J5103 run out and he was able to score the double up. He now sits at 215,000 while Arani has dropped to 615,000.

Zia Khosravi Doubles Through Quan Nguyen

Action folded to Quan Nguyen on the button, who raised and got called by Zia Khosravi out of the big blind. The flop was A32 and Khosravi checked.
Nguyen asked how much Khosravi had left and he responded with 103,000. Nguyen bet what looked to be 30,000 and Khosravi immediately check-raised all in. Nguyen quickly called and saw the bad shape he was in.
Khosravi tabled 108, giving him a flush and Nguyen showed AJ. The turn was the Q and the river was the 8 to give Khosravi the pot and double him up to 265,000.
