We missed the action on the following hand, but had the details generally recounted by the table.
With a flop of A43 both Fred Paradis and Patrick Donnelly checked. The turn brought the 2 and all of the money got in, with Paradis holding the 55 for a turned straight against Donnelly’s AA.
The river brought the K to secure the pot for Paradis, who increased his stack to a tournament-leading 815,000 while Donnelly was sent to the rail in 23rd place, earning $3,897 for his deep run.

Table 2: Brian LeBlan limped in from middle position and Shawn Beaudreault did the same from the cutoff. Fred Paradis raised to 10,000 from the button and Todd Mitchell called from the small blind. LeBlan and Beaudreault folded and Paradis and Mitchell saw a flop of 985. Mitchell check-called Paradis’s 15,000 bet and the two saw the 9 on the river. Mitchell checked and Paradis cut out a large bet of 30,000. Mitchell gave up and Paradis took the pot.

Schonbach instantly came over the top and announced he was all-in as well. Taylor snap-folded and the hands were tabled. Schonbach showed pocket tens and was ahead of Saunders’ king-queen of hearts. The board ran out 55366 with Saunders going to the rail and Schonbach chipping up to about 110,000.

Fred Paradis Wins Card Player Poker Tour Foxwoods Main Event

That’s a wrap! Fred Paradis has won the CPPT Foxwoods main event. After three days, Paradis overcame a field of 282 to win the lion’s share of the $410,310 prize pool.
Paradis had a massive chiplead over Dilipkumar Patel and made the call with A7. Kumar had moved in with K3 and the board ran out A83JQ to send him to the rail in second place.
The two had already agreed to a chop for $70,000 each and played for the remaining $11,528 and the trophy.
With that, Paradis earns the biggest tournament cash of his career at $81,528 and a CPPT Championship title!

With Corcione out of the action, Caruso announced he was all-in for 336,000. Paradis thought hard for several moments before letting go of his hand. Corcione had made his move with AK and Caruso showed 44. The board completed 64 and Corcione was eliminated.
