Abraham Araya Moves All In For Tournament LifeApr 20, '18 We caught up with the action on a board reading 885, and Abraham Araya was facing an 8,000-chip bet from an opponent. Araya, who was in the big blind to start the hand, elected to move all in for about 65,000 in total. Action was on a player stuck in the middle, and he folded. Araya’s opponent thought about it for a second before mucking his cards. The big blind tabled A9, good for a straight, the hijack showed AQ, but Araya scooped the pot with 66, giving him sixes full of tens. Araya moves to just over 290,000 while knocking another player out. After the 2 on the turn Araya bet 7,000 and took down the pot without a showdown. After that small win he increased his stack to over 140,000. After plenty of deliberation and thinking out loud Wright asked, “Why so much?” He then declared, “I don’t know if I’m good enough to lay this down.” From the neighboring table a player yelled out, “Must be middle pair!” After some more thought Wright did eventually lay it down and Araya took the pot.
