Nika Futterman Befuddles Men Nguyen
Oct 17, '17
Nika Futterman, a comedian and voice actress, decided to open shove from the button for her last 70,500, or 35 big blinds.
The move absolutely confused Men Nguyen, who was sitting in the small blind with what looked like a big hand. As the dealer counted down Futterman’s stack, Nguyen continued to mull over his decision.
“Did you see what I had last time,” Futterman said to another player at the table. “I had pocket eights.”
After about 90 seconds, Nguyen announced a fold, but waited until the big blind mucked before releasing his cards. As Futterman dragged the blinds, he showed his AK.
Futterman couldn’t help but show her own hand, which was 88.
