Schwartz Back in the Lead Robby Rasmussen managed to steal the chip lead from Ylon Schwartz in Level 27 after scooping a big Omaha 8 pot with the nut straight on the river. That hand saw a bet on every street and put Rasmussen in the lead with about 1,250,000 while Schwartz fell down to 650,000 in chips. Elior Sion then won a big Razz hand off of Rasmussen with an 8-7 low that put Sion out in front with just over 1 million for lead. Rasmussen then lost some more chips to Sion in another big Razz hand after Sion tabled a 6-5 low to win the pot and move up to nearly 1.5 million in chips. That hand knocked Rasmussen down to about 500,000. Despite the absence of any eliminations until late in the last level, there has been plenty of action and chip movement amongst the top. Stephen Chidwick made a run for the lead in Level 28 by breaking the million-chip mark, but was nearly doubled through by Ylon Schwartz in the Limit Hold’em portion of the level. Schwartz flopped a set and turned a full house to win the showdown, knocking Chidwick below 500,000 as he made his way back to the top of the leader board by the end of the level. Schwartz went from chip leader to the short stack and then back in the lead after two levels of play.
