Gordon Eng has taken his seat and given that it’s a Saturday, we aren’t surprised. Eng recently transitioned from pro player to recreation player after returning to work in the pharmaceuticals industry.
Eng has nearly $1 million in live tournament earning, his most recent cash happening right here last week in Event 1: $600 No-Limit Hold’em $100,000 guarantee. Eng finished 36th for $1,625.
Some of Eng’s other poker accomplishments include a second place finish in the 2007 World Poker Tour Bellagio Cup III for $92,950 and a first place finish in Event 20 at the 2010 Borgata Spring Poker Open for $72,599. Eng’s largest live score came in 2009 for a third place finish at the Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza III for $121,682.
