Neal Blumenfield Eliminated by Brandon Honig
Mar 30, '14
Neal Blumenfield check-raised all in on the turn with the board reading K92A and Brandon Honig went into the tank. After a little while in the tank, Honig announced a call.
Honig was in the lead with K9 and needed to dodge a heart against Blumenfield’s 98. The river was the K to give Honig a full house and the dealer needed to count down Blumenfield’s stack to verify that he was covered by Honig. Blumenfield had roughly 85,000 in his stack on the turn and Honig had him covered.
Honig shoots up to the top of the chip counts with that hand, sitting with 286,000.
