Larry Wright raised to 180,000, leaving himself with just 15,000 behind. Allan Farber called and Wright moved in dark before the flop. Farber called and the players revealed their hands.
Wright was ahead with A3, but Farber’s KQ connected on a board of Q3210Q to send Wright to the rail.

Kong Li was all in with QJ but Alan Farber did him one better with pocket queens in the hole on a final board reading 1087J8. Li was eliminated in 17th place and took home $11,218 in prize money. Farber continues to cruise with close to 1.5 million.

With the board reading Q54 Matt Ludlow checked from the big blind. Allan Farber bet 32,000 and Ludlow called to see the 10 on the turn. Ludlow check-raised Farber’s 57,000 bet to 125,000 and Farber called. The river was the 9 and Ludlow checked. Farber fired out a bet of 137,000 and Ludlow called. Farber showed J9for a rivered pair of nines.
“Disgusting,” Ludlow quietly said as he mucked his cards.

Allan Farber Up Over One Million After Eliminating Carlos Sanchez

Allan Farber won a massive pot when he eliminated Carlos Sanchez and has climbed to 1,000,900.
Farber raised to 20,000 from under the gun and Sanchez called from the button. Mike Yaw called from the small blind and the big blind released. The flop was 932 and Yaw checked. Farber bet 28,000, Sanchez raised to 76,000, Yaw got out of the way and Farber called. The turn was the 10 and Farber fired out 10,000. Sanchez raised it up an additional 48,000 and Farber called again. The river was the A and Farber checked. Sanchez shoved for 152,000 and Farber went deep into the tank. Farber ultimately called and Sanchez told him “good call” as he flipped over 77. Farber held AQ and took the pot.
Sanchez made his exit as the 46th place finisher for For $3,574.

On the final hand of the night Allan Farber raised to 260,000 and Mo Arani called. The flop was dealt 652 and Farber fired out 300,000 after Mo checked. Mo then called and the turn fell 6.
Mo checked, Farber bet 1 million, Mo check-raised to 2 million, and Farber reraised all in. Mo called to cover Farber and the two final players revealed their cards one last time. Farber held AJ but Mo was on top with 76 for turned trip sixes. The river sealed things up with the 4 and Farber was eliminated in second place, good for $136,011.
