A player under-the-gun raised to 3,000 and Stephen Brown three-bet to 8,000 in the cutoff. Action folds back to the original raiser, who goes into the tank for a minute before calling.
Both players quickly check a flop of K96 and the 8 peeled off on the turn. Under-the-gun quickly moved all in for roughly 20,000 and Brown beat her in the pot. He quickly tabled QQ and his opponent hesitated before showing A10.
The river is the 3 to give Brown the pot and move him up to 95,000.

Stephen Brown Doubles Back Over Starting Stack

On a flop of 852, Stephen Brown checked from the small blind and Shawn Rice checked from early position. The player in the hijack bet 1,400 and Brown check-raised to 3,200. Rice got out of the way and the hijack called.
The turn was the Q and Brown moved all in for 7,000 and the hijack went into the tank while theorizing aloud.
“I raised to 700 and you called,” said the hijack. “You could have a set of eights, fives, or deuces or you could have a flush draw. I guess you could have a straight draw with 7-6, but I’m guessing you have a flush draw.”
The cutoff eventually called and the cards are tabled. The hijack tabled JJ and Brown showed AQ.
“Oh hell, ace-queen,” said the hijack. “Lucky, lucky.”
The river was the K and Brown doubled up to back over starting stack and sits with 22,500.
