John Dolan Rebuilding
Aug 23, '15
John Dolan began the day as the chip leader, but his stack had recently dwindled down to about 185,000.
With the board reading K7258 Dolan was all in agains Vincent Caruso. The shove sent Caruso deep into the tank as calling would put him at risk for his tournament life.
“I’m so on the fence right now,” Caruso said. “I’m sorry guys.”
“Take your time buddy,” Eddy Mroczkowski said.
“Whatever you do, they are going to put it in the blog,” Dolan said.
More time went by with Caruso agonizing over his decision and Dolan eventually called the clock. When the floor arrived, the dealer was asked if Caruso had been given a reasonable amount of time to make a decision before the clock was called.
“Oh yeah,” Caruso answered. “Plenty.”
The countdown was started and Caruso let go of his hand. Donal is now back up to about 375,000.
