With a board of AJ7 Jared Greiner bet 21,000, which was enough to put his opponent Adam Demersseman all-in.

After some though, Demersseman called with A5 for top pair. Griener held K10 for flush and straight draws.

The river was the 7, which missed all of Griener’s outs. Demersseman took down the pot with aces and sevens, while Griener fell to 7,000 in chips.

Adam Weinraub Wins One Off Jared Griener

With a flop of AK7 CPPT Ocean’s Eleven San Diego Classic champion Adam Weinraub checked and Jared Griener checked behind.

The turn brought the 3 and Weinraub bet 1,100. Griener called and the 8 completed the board.

Weinraub bet 3,500 and Griener thought it over before making the call. Weinraub showed down AQ for top pair with a queen kicked. Griener mucked and fell to just over starting stack, while Weinraub took down the pot to climb to 29,000.

For his deep run Griener, a Huntington Beach native, earned $57,190. Griener is no stranger to success here at the Bike. He finished second in a $500,000 guaranteed $130 buy-in event during the 2014 Legends of Poker series for $84,667.

More recently he finished sixth in the WPT Gardens Poker Fesitval main event for $115,885.

Griener has $1,465,082 in lifetime live tournament earnings and will look to add to that with a deep run here in the 2018 CPPT Bike main event, where he has taken a seat early on day 1A.
