Tommy Brown Busts A Player
Jun 25, '16
A player bet 4,400, and Tommy Brown made it 25,000, which was enough to put him all in. The bet was called. Brown held the AJ and he was in a race against his opponent’s 1010.
The flop fell A-8-8, which put Brown way out in front. His pair of aces held.
Thanks to that pot, Brown had 124,000, which was good for third in the room at the time.

Thomas Brown Busts Richard Oelkers
Jun 25, '16
Thomas Brown was in the big blind with the A4 and called a bet from Richard Oelkers in the UTG position. The flop fell J102, and the action went check-check.
The turn was the 4, giving Brown the nuts.
He checked again, and Oelkers bet 1,000. Brown called.
The turn was the 5, and Oelkers put out 2,000 out of turn. Brown raised that binding bet to 5,000, and Oelkers shoved for 25,000. Brown of course called with the nut flush on an unpaired board. Oelkers mucked without showing.

Debbie Shoemaker Takes Out Thomas Brown
Jun 26, '16
Debbie Shoemaker raised to 7,000 and Thomas Brown reraised all in for his last 23,000. Shoemaker called and showed AQ, but she was dominated by Brown’s AK.
The board ran out K94J10, causing Brown to exclaim incredulously, “Really?”
Brown is eliminated, and Shoemaker chips up to 85,000.
On some two other tables, we’ve also lost Mikhail Zdanovskiy and Michael Kruger.
