Frank Paul Finds A Double
Feb 17, '14
Frank Paul was on the short stack with just 246,000 and was facing an opening raise from Brad St. Vincent. Fortunately for Paul, he was holding pocket aces, and he three-bet his opponent.
St. Vincent asked for a count of Paul’s stack, and then moved all-in. Paul insta-called.
St. Vincent held A-J and had a lot of life after a Q-10-9 flop. Paul took a deep breath and braced for the turn. It was a jack, giving St. Vincent some more outs to not lose the hand.
However, a queen on the river wasn’t what he needed, and Paul scored a much-needed double.
