A short-stacked player moved all-in for 12,800 from early position and Nick Cyr called. Action folded around to a player in the big blind and he thought about it for a bit before finally folding A-5 face-up. It was now down to just the two players.
Cyr tabled the A K and was in great shape versus the A 9 of his opponent. The flop fell A-8-2, keeping the better hand out in front.
The king on the turn sealed the deal, while a meaningless jack landed on the river.
Cyr took the hand to build his stack to around 100 big blinds.
