Phillip Knezevich Eliminated In 17th Place ($5,936)
Feb 16, '14
Phillip Knezevich was short stacked after his aces got cracked by an opponent with 10-7, and then a hand or two later was all-in for his tournament life with K-6.
The action began when Frank Paul shoved all-in for 200,000 with J-10. Knezevich committed the last of his chips with the K-6, and Chris Tryba re-shipped with pocket nines. The latter was ahead for the time being.
The board ran out J-6-3-8-Q, giving Paul the double up, and sending Knezevich to the rail.
He earned $5,936 for his efforts.
