Doug Paxton moved all in preflop and Jim Carroll called. The two players then flipped over their cards.

Board: JJ10AA
Both players made a full house, aces over jacks and the pot was chopped. Paxton just missed the double up on the hand.

Doug Paxton has quite a poker history in Oklahoma and is making a deep run in the Choctaw Main Event. Paxton has been playing poker most of his life and began playing serious tournament poker back in 1992.
He holds two Oklahoma State Championship of Poker titles, one in the $3,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event in 2006 and a second in the $300 Seven Card Stud Eight or Better in 2009. A few of his other accomplishments include six WSOP Circuit cashes and one WSOP cash, an eighth place finish in the 2010 Tulsa Hard Rock Poker Open $100 No Limit Hold’em, a sixth place finish in the 2010 Mid-South Poker Classic Tulsa $1,000 No Limit Hold’em, an eight place finish in the 2010 Oklahoma State Championship of Poker Seniors Event, a 16th place finish in the 2010 Oklahoma State Championship of Poker $3oo Heads Up Championship, and a 12th place finish in the 2007 Oklahoma State Championship of Poker $3,000 Championship Event.
He has seven cashes here at Choctaw and just over $319,000 in career earnings. Paxton’s started his career playing lowball and stud games before mastering No Limit Hold’em.
In a recent hand Paxton was all in for his tournament life and caught a much needed double up.
The hand: Jeffrey Tuttle raised to 26,000 from under the gun and Paxton three-bet all in for his last 48,000 with 66. Tuttle snap-called with Q10 and Paxton stood to watch the board. Paxton’s sixes held on a board of AJ9 75 and he doubled up.
