Jun 25, '16
Rex Ludwig raised to 425 from early position and the big blind three-bet to 1,025. Ludwig called, and the flop came down 863.
The big blind bet 2,500 and Ludwig quickly raised to 5,000. His opponent then came back over the top for 15,000 and Ludwig moved all in. The big blind quickly called and tabled AA for an overpair and the nut flush draw, but Ludwig held KQ for a flopped flush.
The turn and river fell 810 and Ludwig won the pot. After the stacks were counted down, it was determined that Ludwig had 24,625, which just narrowly covered his opponent’s 24,575. Ludwig is now the early chip leader with just over 50,000 in chips.
